Our March activity will be on Thursday, March 15th (the third Thursday of the month). We will be going to the University of Illinois to have a tour of the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music. We will need to meet at church at 9:30. The tour will include viewing a collection of ‘older’ musical instruments, John Philip Sousa memorabilia, the ‘first electronic musical instrument’ as well as some items from the U. of I. Marching Band. There will be minimal walking and there are chairs in the rooms to allow us to sit down when needed/wanted. Lunch will be after the tour. If you would like to join us, please let us know here at the church!
