The Truth Project Has Begun

This week we started The Truth Project Bible Study Series with our church on Wednesday nights from 6pm to 8pm. It’s not to late to be involved in this study! If you would like to have some help building a Biblical Worldview, please join us on Wednesday nights here at the church. We will begin to develop a Biblical worldview on subjects like truth, theology, politics, science, the arts, and everything in between. This study would be beneficial for any and every believer. Baby Dedication Day

This special Sunday is an opportunity for all new parents or parents of children that have not yet been dedicated to the Lord publicly, to say, before the church body, that they will raise their children in a way that honors and glorifies the Lord and “train them up in the way they should go” (Proverbs 22:6). This is also a wonderful opportunity for our church family to commit to pray for these parents as they raise their children in a God honoring way. Church League Softball to Begin in April
It’s that time of year again! Church League Softball will begin in mid-April. We don’t have many details right now, but we are starting to sign up those that would like to play this year. Primetimers Head to the Sousa Archives at the University of Illinois

Our March activity will be on Thursday, March 15th (the third Thursday of the month). We will be going to the University of Illinois to have a tour of the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music. We will need to meet at church at 9:30. The tour will include viewing a collection of ‘older’ musical instruments, John Philip Sousa memorabilia, the ‘first electronic musical instrument’ as well as some items from the U. of I. Marching Band. There will be minimal walking and there are chairs in the rooms to allow us to sit down when needed/wanted. Lunch will be after the tour.
