Congratulations to our softball team for winning the first round of the church softball tournament. We were able to defeat Pennsylvania Avenue on Monday in 5 innings. If we win this game, we’ll be playing the next round of the tournament at 8:00pm, so hopefully Monday is a full night for us! If you get a chance, please come and cheer us on to victory!

10 Believers Baptized at Church Picnic

We are praising the Lord because 10 people who had previously accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior chose to be baptized on Sunday, July 17th! All 10 of these people chose to obey the Lord’s command and identify their life with Jesus Christ. It was an amazing opportunity to see each person give an illustration of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ with their life through baptism on Sunday night. Each one of these believers gave testimony to the fact that Jesus has changed their life drastically through salvation by faith alone. We hope that you can rejoice with them during this exciting time as well as pray for each of them as they continue to grow closer in their relationship with the Lord.

Teens Back From Summer Camp In Michigan

After a brilliant 5 days of living in tents in the wilderness of Frankfort, MI, our teens made in home safely to enjoy their nice, warm beds. Talk to any of the teens and they’ll tell you how challenging and adventurous this unique camping experience was for them. I know the teens will truly miss all of the excitement and fun that is summer camp, but hopefully they won’t forget the challenges made from God’s Word that can have a profound effect on their life. Check out the short video below to see a little glimpse of what summer camp was like!

Costa Rica Mission Team Arrives Home Safely

After 8 days and over 40 hours of travel, our Costa Rica Mission Team arrived home safe and sound! During those 8 days in Costa Rica, our mission team was able to update an existing building into a youth center, lead an evangelistic youth rally, set up and help run a family fun fair, run children’s programs during the church services, and find time to see the beautiful country of Costa Rica! It seems like a lot during a short amount of time, but all of the team members more than willing to serve our missionaries, Ray & Kristi Rhoton, in any way possible! We thank you for your prayers, and we want you to know that the Lord was glorified and the name of Jesus Christ went forth through this mission! Please click the movie below to see pictures and highlights of our trip!
