Dr. Wayne Vanderwier to Speak at Unity

Date: Sunday, February 13, 2011

It is always a treat for us to have Dr. Wayne Vanderwier and his wife Sue with us at Unity.

For many years Dr. Vanderwier was a Pastor in northern Indiana, and a professor at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.  In June, 2006, Dr. Vanderwier began the ministry of Overseas Instruction in Counseling, which strives to establish and maintain national biblical counseling training and certify organizations throughout the world. In that effort, the Vanderwier’s have worked with national Christian pastors in Egypt, Russia, India, China, as well as other countries in the Arab world, and former “iron curtain” nations.

It is a privilege to have them as a part of our missionary family, and we look forward to hearing their report on February 13th.

We’ll be heading to Michigan this year for camp from June 27-July 1. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Dan at the church.

New Tuesday Bible Study Coming in February

In February, Pastor Brady is going to begin a new Bible Study for MEN and WOMEN that will meet on Tuesday mornings and Tuesday evenings. We will be studying, and then discussing, different topics of importance to the Christian life and walk. Men and women will be meeting together for these Bible studies each Tuesday, and we’ll be offering either a morning or evening Bible study option which we hope will allow as many of our people (married or single) to take advantage of this new study. If you would like to be involved or know more information about this study, please feel free to contact us at the church.
